  • Ski In Ski Out #1 has 2 allocated undercover  parking spaces. Parking is directly out the front of your Chalet.

    Please do not park at the property before your check-in as cleaners, maintenance and property managers will require the space before your arrival.

    On the day of your arrival, we will send you an email  with the door code as soon as the property is cleaned, checked and ready for your arrival. If the property is available earlier, we will advise, however, please note that in peak times your property may not be available until the standard check-in time of 4 pm. Check-out is strictly 10 am. If you have not received the door codes by 4 pm please call our office on (02) 6457-2144 or 0499-577-064.

  • All linens including towels are provided. You are staying in a self-contained chalet, this means that you can prepare your own meals, you will have washing facilities (ie. washing machine and dryer); we do not do mid week cleans. Your chalet has detergent, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, garbage bags  supplied.  You will need to bring more of these items or buy locally if you are here for an extended stay.

Heating

  • Gas Fireplace:

    To turn on or off, simply flip the on/off switch. On/off switch is located on RHS wall of fireplace.

    Troubleshooting:
    The Pilot light in the back left hand corner of the fire should always be on. If for some reason is not, then follow the below instructions.
    1. Open flap located at front/bottom of fire.
    2. Turn the gas know to ‘Pilot’. The wording pilot should be pointing to the bottom of the control.
    3. Depress knob in &  hold.
    4. While executing C/ also push in ignition  button (located above pilot knob) to create spark to ignite the pilot flame. Keep the pilot know held in for another 10 seconds once the pilot flame has ignited.
    5. Do not adjust fan speed (it should be set to middle).
    6. If pilot flame is now working, move pilot knob to ‘on’.
    7. Now press on/off switch to on- this will ignite the fire.

  • Underfloor Heating:

    Underfloor heating is throughout the bathrooms, in the kitchen & laundry

  • Ducted Heating:

    1. Press on/off button located on control panel at bottom right hand side.
    2. Adjust temperature knob to desired temperature 22ºC.
    3. Please ensure that it is left on manual mode.

You will need to push the silver button in until the red light comes on.

When you push the button in you will get to a part were it feels like it has stopped,
you will need to push the button a little bit passed this point and you will see the red light beside this button light up.

  • Miele Classic:

    1. Open the dishwasher, place detergent & rinse aid into dishwasher compartments.
    2. Turn Temperature Knob to -55*C Drying with Heater
    3. Turn Wash Cycle Knob to -Economy Main Wash and dishwasher will start.

  • Oven Stovetop: 

    1. LHS- ‘Function Knob’ – Select desired program by turning knob i.e. Classic Bake, Fan Bake or Grill.
    2. Middle- ‘Timer Knob’- Please ensure the Cook Time Knob is set to display a picture right hand.
    3. RHS- ‘Temperature Knob’- Select desired temperature ( usually 180 degrees).
    4. Turn LHS side and RHS knobs to off when finished.
    5. Please wipe out once cool.

    Exhaust Fan:

    Note: we are located within a National Park and smoke detectors are very sensitive, please ensure the exhaust fan is turned on for all cooking.
    1. Turn on the light switch – switch is located on your RHS closest to you.
    2. Adjust setting of exhaust fan- switch is located RHS at the back.

     

  • Tv:

    1. Press the source button on the remote control to display the source list.
    2. Press ▲/▼ to select TV or other input sources and press OK to confirm.
    3.You can also press on the remote control to display the homepage, press ▲/◄/► to move the cursor to the (Inputs) area on the right top of the screen, and press OK to enter.
    4. Then press ▲/▼ and OK to select the input source.

  • DVD Player:

    1. Turn Tv on using Sony remote.
    2. Press top left hand corner button of remote and select Video 1.
    3. Press power button on DVD Player.
    To insert disc press blue open/close button on remote.
    – Press ►to play.
    – Press ■ to stop.
    – Press l l to pause.

  • Delonghi Coffee Machine:

    1. Rinse then fill the water tank with water.
    2. Press the Espresso or Lungo button to activate the machine. (Blinking lights: Heating up 25 Seconds, Steady Lights: Ready)
    3. Lift the lever completely and insert coffee capsule.
    4. Close the lever and place a cup under the coffee outlet.
    5. Press the Espresso (40ml) or the Lungo (110ml) button to start. Preparation will stop automatically. To stop the coffee flow or top up your coffee, press again.
    6.  Remove the cup. Lift and close the lever to eject the capsule into the used capsule container.

    Aeroccino Milk Frother:
    1. Attach the relevant whisk.
    2. Fill milk frother up to one of the two <<Max>>  level.
    3. Place the lid on the Aeroccino. For a hot preparation, briefly press button to start. Button lights up Red. Takes approx. 70-80seconds. For cold milk froth, keep button pressed for approx. 2 seconds. Button lights up blue. Takes approx. 60 seconds.

  • Dryer:

    1. Load washing. DO not overload, a few items at a time will be quicker.
    2. Press On/Off switch.
    3. Set Time as a guide – half load of cottons 65mins.
    4. Set the required temperature.
    5. Press Start button = S.
    6. To check progress open the door, machine will stop. To restart press start button again.
    7. After removing dry items please clean the lint filter & empty the water container.

  • Washing Machine:

    1. Press On/Off switch (top left button).
    2. Open door by pushing door release button (top button right).
    3. Choose your program.
    – Whites (full load) Program 2: temp 40*C – 75mins.
    – Whites (half load) Program 2: temp 40*C – 55mins.
    – Colours (full load) Program 2: temp 40-60*C – 75mins.
    – Colours (half load) Program 6: temp 40*C – 55mins.
    4. Put washing powder into the right hand side compartment.
    5. Turn knob to required program number & machine will start.
    6. Once programmed the machine cycle can not be stopped.
    7. When finished open the door by pressing the key button.

  • Ultra Q Roaster BBQ:

    1. Open lid.
    2. Push and turn knob to high.
    3. To ignite other burners, push and turn knob to high.
    4. For roasting close lid.

Throughout winter only, a free shuttle bus service operates around Thredbo Village to make getting around easier.

Rubbish Enclosure & Departure Instructions

We would like to remind you that the property is to be left in a clean and tidy state as stated in your guest registration forms. Washing up, excess rubbish left inside, and cleaning not considered normal duties will be charged to your credit card. Loss of garage door controls and/or damage to the property is also your responsibility. These conditions are stated and accepted by you on the confirmation of your reservations and signage of the guest registration.

Please remove all rubbish from the property and leave it neatly bagged in the properties bin enclosures. If the enclosures are full, please leave only additional rubbish neatly bagged and ready for removal by the cleaners inside the entrance (do not leave outside as weather & local wildlife will cause trouble with rubbish that is left unsecured outside).

Ski In Ski Out#1 garbage enclosure is located down the driveaway at the rear of the carport opposite Ski#12.

Please load & turn the dishwasher on and turn off all lights.

  • Chemist

    There is a chemist located in the Village Square, which opens year-round.  Please note in summer they only stock over-the-counter medications and there is not a pharmacist on duty.  A larger pharmacy is located in Jindabyne at Nuggets Crossing.

    Doctor

    Thredbo Medical Centre is located at the leisure centre. The centre is open during winter and a limited number of hours during summer. At other times there is first aid care available in Thredbo Alpine Hotel.

    Jindabyne Medical Centre is located on 5 Thredbo Terrace, Jindabyne. Operating hours are Monday to Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-12pm during summer and extended hours over winter.

    A Westpac ATM is located in the upper concourse of the Thredbo Alpine Hotel.  Branches of the Commonwealth and Westpac banks are located in Jindabyne.

  • Thredbo Church Services

    There are regular church services held in the chapel.   Every Saturday evening there is a Catholic Mass at 5pm and Ecumenical services on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday at 5pm.  There is also an annual Ecumenical blessing of the snow at 2pm on the Sunday of the June long weekend.    Phone:  (02) 6456 2357

Fire Alarm

All our properties are fitted with hard-wired fire alarms.  If your fire alarm should go off please phone 000. The property managers are unable to turn off the fire alarm. Thredbo has a year-round manned fire station in the village.

Check-In Time

Due to cleaning workloads in winter and extreme weather changes, delays maybe experienced for check in times, however if the property is ready earlier you may receive a call to allow earlier access.

Maintenance

Please report any maintenance problems immediately to our office on 6457 2144.  If it is after hours and NOT an emergency we will attend to it, as soon as possible.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any properties.  If you are found to be smoking in any property an excessive cleaning fee (up to $1,000) will apply to remove smell.  A full clean of the property will be required – carpets, curtains, upholstery, and bed linen.
